That Hitler used to issue some of the the last commands of world war tape costing thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people their lives. I went up for auction recently. And they thought it might go Lou you know 500000. May be. Starting bid it was a hundred grand. An undisclosed individual I yeah yeah yeah and no surprise there but it's a S seventy here hold Siemens rotary phones got the swastika. And all that stuff on it Pena read I guess of discount kind of like the bad. But it. I just don't think even if god you know. Was the big time lottery winners of my dad and had the money that that that particular item I don't know man in the evil and in everything as. I don't mean from historical standpoint. I mean that maybe that maybe there's something now would buy and then loan out to a museum. Yeah yeah I don't want in the house as to an end though a little cream that's that's a little creepy to do it's bad karma or a bad thing it's still a cool I still interest in 240 grand for Hitler's time so. A passing of note this week. Lieutenant John Keith wells. The marine commander responsible for raising the first flag atop mount serve but she died on February 11 just shy of the Sydney for 71. These idiots in this article they rose 71 TH said he wants. Anniversary. Of his hockey analogy might just I just caught that who's who wrote this article we are the mighty I have to column. When edit a discourage your real briefly part of his part of the warrant it would with his. And uses navy cross citation. When ordered to attack across open train in dislodging enemy from a series of strongly defended pill boxes and block houses of base amount served by Sheikh. First lieutenant wells placed himself in the forefront of his platoon. And leading his men forward in the face of intense hostile machine gun mortar and rifle fire. Continuously move from one point to the other two lead assault groups one by one in their attacks are Japanese and placements. Although severely wounded while directing his demolition squad in an assault on a formidable enemy block out who's far his stop the advance of split and he continued to lead his men until the block house was destroyed. When an hour later the pain from his wound became so intensity was no longer able to walk he established a command post in a position from which shall observe the progress of his men. Even after several wounds including a trap and including shrapnel and a chunk of his leg being severed wells continue to lead his men until he physically couldn't move. Due to severe dehydration. But when he wasn't down for long he convinced to Korman he gave himself a powder and morphine so we can get off the hospital ship and back to his platoon. What do you do when do. You miss a party or lag year leg strap yeah. Any convinces a Mormon I guarantee it by you know. Threat of loss of oxygen via give me some gimme some morphine any URD a hospital ship the and you already evacuated that anywhere it back to. On H acted even Heidi greet. Fear it will as a week this show ago or two shows ago we talked about. The tunnel of oppression of dance where college a few large university police departments are doing this outreach to. The students and to this thing and they called the tunnel of oppression yes we talked about probably about the silliest outreach idea I've never heard of well in North Hampton Massachusetts the police department there was doing an outreach program in the economy cents. One day a week Friday that colony high five Friday different police officers which show up and elementary school. In just greet the kids as they came in thought this is a good way weakened they we can teach them reach out to them and don't be afraid of us they were learning how are hurting out here. You know be your friend. And they had to stop it because. Of some parents complaining about how some children. Might. React to this or have. I guess an in grown innate fear of police officers and so having any. Couple police officers of varying sizes and shapes and races. And who knows how many genders. Given them a little high five as they walk in and saying hey have a great day. Notice that thing they had to cancel this did something like that gets get shut down in yet something is idiotic is this tunnel of oppression crap. As some very expensive universities. Gets to take place in any factual probably spread to more. It's no these are parents realize what they're teaching their kids. Apparently not. I mean. The the law enforcement community goes it goes out of their way this is a community oriented policing type offense which is something that has been touted forever and as long as I can remember. You know COP is a way to be an endless list the community oriented and in all this other stuff so they start this outreach program. In some biggest butt heard about it because oh my god my child might have an adverse reaction why would your child have an adverse reaction. Only because. You're telling them that they need to. Yeah not because they have some innate genetic predisposition. To have an adverse reaction to a cop or anybody else in the uniform for that matter is because your crappy parent via acreage of these kids and again this is. An elementary school we're not talking a high school we've got problem teenagers and this is something the school students at this is. An elementary school a while throngs. And I just hope you know what here's a nose got my blood pressure Boyle and this is out of Los Angeles big surprise right. LAPD is mad at ice. I get to an LA IR and Ella or the federal agency the federal again because it activity when we come back for that. Not a clear 1 o'clock. As citing a practice discloses weaken the times mayor Eric Garcetti city attorney Mike Furrey and City Council president herb Wesson cosigned a letter. To the directors of the immigration service to urge in the strongest possible terms that ice immediately cease this practice and in the practices. They're wearing the patch on their re invested since police. And apparently in LA. The only association. With police is the LAPD in their mad because they feel like ice is undoing all of the community outreach. Did the LAPD has dime to the minority communities. Maybe we can pass this idea along to about half time dude this is this is one of the dumbest things. Ice is what are they they're cops yet they're federal cops or federal agents and they're investors says police in menaces ice. So there's no I was making these people are. If he Ellie B thinks that they've got some kind of stupendous reputation in the community now granted I've never been a Cobb and LA. And not I know some cops knowing they're great people they're good they're they're the best of the best when it comes to law enforcement. But. That the the the come home base then the upper Echelon of LAPD. To think that they've got some kind of stellar reputation. Get out of here. Idiots. Carry on and one last little thing for a gallon only comeback to Branko grabbed the phone calls this is good news eight judge military judge ruled that Bo bird Bell's case will not be thrown out because of comments by. Candidate trump when he was calling berg saw traitor and scum and all this stuff. Army judge. Colonel Jeffrey Nantz who wrote that the comments from candidate trump work. Disturbing and disappointed but they do not constitute unlawful command influence. And so for those of us who can have been watching that and hoping justice will prevail that's the good news I am I'm I'm happy I'm happy here that is well site and that Danny and Jerry hang on. Jerry from Simpson bill. And three things to share with a Gerri thanks for all the non and welcome to the ship. Good afternoon. Op report it to what. One of relatively older unsolved ask and maybe you know. But did you know that much yet to advertise and to salute to service. At ninety will there's there is an NFL. I think in that I think ladies why I was not about us. Yes unfortunately. Didn't have money that would be involved that's not us that they've got like a salute to service program which it was just because I might be channeled some of that money but maybe you know what maybe we needed to do legal sue and how somebody that legal department at Entercom and ask at that at that. Yeah how I wish I wish we were part of that that where you know maybe one day you do a little bigger bit not today. Yeah I got I got out okay I'm yeah I don't. I didn't come my daughter currently about prostate NFL or. Over the left or of that ordnance center usually velcro is only a swamp it has an absolute circus yeah. Local you know. Tell everybody you know that's for the radio show you feel free to tell us that at bat that. I'm actually have a couple about the man. Well I wonder when I wondered you know what will tell you so about 11. Or so outlet here. I'll warm yet have a haven't received the good I don't know why would cause somebody at that and try and excited somebody at. And that outside. Let it build it had decided it felt like it well yes. I would question. Out of op. How can go out air fortune to a notorious the first fourteen Nowotny PG a lot. And call us in the back of their Abdullah Granger man and all that and you know what the PGA does yeah yeah absolutely. But you know. One of the times we depended on the front line on what I want. Aliens yeah you know and it it was a constant sites. What the people at their headquarters. In Saigon. Those airplanes in the air. Coach who wanted to budget system and a part of that system works. You know everybody wanted it to the world who were slow their work they were they were not say they are that it Navajo were told them can't and don't you also won't. And the consulate site. It's like they can't has now yeah. He was going yeah. Great. The cartel. Airports may try to get rid of the H Chandler ever them and and and get out of the ground. Out. Britney bitch in the process for you won't won't just won't go won't want that. So they're cheap upgrade your but it should. The jet had just struck bella really useless to talk about when you understand that it's fortunate Robert how how hard they try to get there. They want and you know I appreciate. Now critically short you take both of those aircraft Maria and neither one is what he called particularly attractive. Sleek beautiful and I might ease high tech with a lot of bells and whistles. But they get the job done me and they they can it's they can spread some patent and or freedom whatever you prefer to. They put a lot of land on target when the guys on the ground are counting on Matt to get out of a bad situation. And that that is great parallel that as a great aircraft yeah I actually get back my aircraft model of building days and I junger. That was one of the few non World War II aircraft that I put a model together awesome that's operator man. Awesome airplane thanks so much for the call Gerri we appreciate it man that's agree Al great great aerial and thank you for your servicer. PGA they had no option what the court you know it. I never thought to put those two together but he's exactly right thought that was beautiful parallel that was ruled to technology gap. That they were saving like Ohio and end the Vietnam War and CNN proves a point we've made over and over. One of the best audiences and talk radio right out here that Debbie Doherty audience just how dangerous is North Korea. Pretty pretty and gesture CNN we're gonna talk about we're gonna talk about our little Kim we get back salute service one of 63 W or do you check in giant. Stay tuned why well because you got nothing better to do I guess. As one of my favorite mantras of ours in the rotation man cannot beat some get all Roland stunts. Salute to service John and chuck here with a man beautiful Saturday at Darrell we have a good day hope you being careful out there don't overdo it on the yard work. I did it a bit if at all possible I wish you guys I think that that the conversation goes on in between during the breaks you know it sums it I don't know it's just that impromptu stuff that anyway content of the topics. That we had a prepared the forehand preparation preparation. You know I had posted on our FaceBook page and you confront us on FaceBook it's FaceBook dot com slash W a RD salute to service. Gotta keep conversation go when they're throughout the week. And with this half brother Kim in June on they're you know crazy KM North Korea. And yet we talked about you know the dangers they're course and Nate tasks in the course there's some though staying in how much. Save morass Saber rattling on the call gap in the in the in the inner circle do you and they do you that you're in the inner circle right this. Owns lemon on April electric cars as we did I did but I. This guy being killed half brother being assassinated. Who's got a sneaky is craziest thing any I can I share the article on our FaceBook page saying and in light ale while this is kind of like. And in my Myers Austin Powers international man of mystery Canon thing you know look a couple of cheap look and women look at my hookers kill on the guy in in the airport. In Malaysia. And was poking fun at a little bit not that Kate got bad and admit that. Extremely dynamic is they they yet they put the fun in dysfunctional is just put that. But in reading an article. In bright mark this week where John Bolton I ambassador jumbled former ambassador UN pretty Smart guy and a nice guy we actually got a medium and we're very happy and whether it be censured it nice gap. Of course he didn't really talk with estimates he was talking with a -- a group that flight I mean yeah I talk to these two weekends and that's. Anyway bolt had a really great angle on this and why. Is this assassination of the half brother in Malaysia with the X nerve agent he's got over that hill is a bit of yes yeah you don't shooter stats and you killed him with a persistent nerve agent in a public place in a foreign country. And former ambassador Bolton says. If anybody had any doubts about how crazy. An unstable. The top leadership is they're in North Korea. This is it. This this proves how one stable player. And so again what was kind of fun to initially start off talking about this being my and it sounds like semi had seen a doctor evil dispatches a couple of the film bots to. The airport in Paula alarm poor wherever to. Take out the half brother that again that wasn't a threat day in a no no no guy had no power nothing aegis would run his mouth. And say you think about it now from. The much more intelligent perspective of John Bolton. About look this this shows a and a real flow slayer for the and staying with these guys because they again. They wanna hush this guy out they wanna be rid of him so rather than do something over kidnap him at a nightclub take him out. With a 22 short of the back down. Or something like that in a Disco. They killed a guy with nerve agent and you. Kind of start thinking about that and that's like. Asks that's pretty hitch in that. It is yeah you know that they've obviously vague they've got accessing temperature VX nerve agent we know they've got nuclear weapons. We've had the stories where it's like you know they've got their a 300 millimeter. Rocker like multiple launch ML RS multiple launch rocket system. Not too far back on their side of the DMZ all these things they've got the the million man army in and some people when you talk about. The size of their military will you know they don't have it there a paper tiger because. You know they don't they'd be like a lot of the Soviet troops from world war TAU got a million people but you know. One gas got a rifle on the entertain gas at math and that the pistol bullets wait for the guy with a rifle being shot. But still you take everything with him into. Its totality. And it draws a picture that is. Is that you can't just ignored these guys are not something to be strictly just laughed about to be Payer eighty dome late night television. And I think ambassador Bolton is it is a 100% right when he's like this is something this is a wakeup call basically. That they we know they kidnap people before in Andy's crazy band aid is well kidnapped people. I'm course my experiencing a bean station over in Korea other stingy here they go on you know you know guys that are up on the DMZ and they're doing patrols and there's little fire fights back and forth. And them. Meanwhile I was over there there is even some tunnels like caved in and I'm not talking and tunnels like these. Drug and coyote in drug mule tunnels under the US Mexico border that was a tunnel caved in while I was over there. That. You could fit a decent acting that's that's for those who don't know deduced heavy assess that truck QC and all the arm team in the east. That's you know to gas and a cab upfront knowledge has an end and back and that's a pretty good sized vehicle yes tunnels were big enough to accommodate that with a single row. But. Mobile troops on either side. And so. This is something that I know the nicest is of course being in the knees gets a lot of attention all this do things with Russia as. You gotta look at what we talked about before so many times as. It's not just us that will be making a decision on on our level of involvement. Should North Korea do something. I mean we've got our troops in Korea. But then we've got. You know course the South Koreans are allies the Japanese are allies the Chinese. We've. Got this strange relationship what it is a bit leery chief got other people that are. Kosher. Geographically. To the North Korea. And the potential. Massive instability and death hole. That should something go down should the north Koreans or even Japan may be Japan and north and South Korea say look we we can't have this 'cause we both got our economies go on and are able and stuff and maybe we just it's it's we we can't allow this so we're gonna start something and then just because where they are word Alan Ball. Well it and we would have to make I usually do hand jobs we got a job South Korea jumps we had to jump if China jobs not those China is is you know their their homes and everything. But it did they China's not real happy with the things that are going on with the right now because it poses a threat China's yeah well it is. I don't think that little Kim is. I don't think he has friends I don't think he understands friends. You know I'm saying I don't think he looks at China and says hey were you know were buddies were allies. I think he looks at them. And it is is is in a pressure much the way he looks at it the US and that and they do anyways and dependent yes upon them that they knew ye. Got a lot of people that that escape. From North Korea back gaining over India China yet. And other some great documentaries that front line PBS. Frontline actually did a really good job a couple of years ago with some of that answer I came across that article and I'm like. You know that's really thought provoking because a couple of weeks ago there was an article I didn't get to Wear a top US general. Has come out in an interview talking about just how quickly. A war with North Korea cuts can have spillover effects to the US with cyber hacking because we talk about the yet. The issue before where they've got like an Italian were the guys in the North Korean Army that they're all Packers their their duty they they're they're trained. I T types and that's their job that's their job their MO SS there yet that's there MOS they're not infantry armor. They're they're they're not a joke and I I think. You know what. I would hate to see some that because of their that we said before you're you're gonna have a body count that's gonna make this stuff in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yeah Palin will pale in comparison and we don't mean this to be fear mongering by any stretch of the imagination it's it's simply. It's fat looking at a reality yet and I hope it doesn't come to pass I hope something else you know. That one in this situation down that. You got to at least be aware you can't have your hits that in the sand when we come back. British and a little time on the gift that keeps on giving. The veterans administration health care system yet let's first look at Iran has called in about a World War II memorably thing in deciding on Rama get taken standby a standby elicits a disservice 163 to be award he would check in John and will be right back them excellent service final segment laughs. Time flies and Ron has been patient holding their own weddings advantage talk on Iran thanks for Holden welcome to the ship. I appreciate information. Primarily. And do it because he's been locked in over the meaning it from the very good car they do well. My uncle was in a landing partied it the invasion of the battle Luzon. And look cute he was an aircraft mechanic. So every you know it's interesting are you like to VA it would not here to BA isn't our but. The the book a violation of these. Photographs and documents. Link like that. Rhetoric directed. Occupying the cropping senility. Absolutely that I'd be seriously cool I love old photos mangled video wall warts and photos and stuff from my grandfather I absolutely love and if that if it's the cheapest thing if it's got the ability to did scanning and then and send us some of the pictures that be fantastic as well yeah whatever the path of least resistance in India and attention to John because I can't read. Now that we might add that I love it love it when talk about it I mean that's that we can. You know under self published yet do of this some segment Sonnen is a talk about it maybe help them intermission a little bit that yet to get an interview or something about it as well let me Colorado we appreciate it right. He's up on the on the day he's he's a history buff too so he's pretty much up on OK thank you very much. We appreciate it man every Saturday I Everyman well that's pretty well because I love the old photos that may think there's anything for me color in that or now I know probably not carry ons that helmet or discontinue eating them. And this man. The VA and manly as try to squeeze in some stuff here on this secretary Scholl Ken David shall Ken is that doctor David children. Is also. You know he was. Doctors staff member high ranking staff are there VA and is now the secretary of the VA. Is interviewed recently about Fox News in their kind of gonna break the interviewed and a couple of segments spread out over a few shows. And and that made a comment about the the problems at the VA and problematic workers just. Saying they're going to be fired when you have 12 or three people who really aren't doing their job they bring everybody down. And said the best thing I know from my private sect private sector experience is you've got to do with that you've got to get them out of the system because. That helps not only the veterans but also the people at the VA or working here trying to do the right thing for our veterans. Well is gonna take a lot of a lot of calling out a lot of draining that swamp and 'cause. Cash article after article there's been some hearings. Recently. Ain't congress and some of the stuff coming out of there is is unbelievable this is from a 2015. And 2016. Inspector general and this is the root of the Broward here. And this is amazing VA records show. About 290000. That's 290000. Over a quarter of a million. VA employees. Spent nearly one point one million hours. In fiscal year 2015 on union activities and 346. Of those employees. Devoted 100%. Of there official and into an air quotes here or work time. To doing it union business. At at a prime example of why this is the peak huge problem in should be of concern to all taxpayers especially veterans and and militant military families. A couple of these guys were doctors. Making mid 200001. At what his location was making they reportedly 220000. Another was over 240000. Dollars. These are doctors. And they spent a 100%. Of their work time that year. Doing union business yet. Being paid by the taxpayers well how is that right what other. What private entity or what other realm. Can you possibly get away doing here's here's. What bothers me even more John is that. They spent all those hours all of man hours on union business yet its. Ill still the VA is is it Charlie fox trot. And there are still. Veterans dying waiting to be seen there are still lists. Yeah. There are still problems there are still problem employees. In these guys you're spending time. Figuring out ways through the union to keep these people employed GAAP and won this. Another example of the insanity here a group of employees at VA hospital room Little Rock were arrested recently for conspiring to steal large quantities of prescription drugs one of the employees and this is just want one of the employees access the web portal and a medical supplier using it to order a shipment of 4000 OxyContin pills and 3300. Hydra coat on pills with a street value of a 160000. Dollars the one guy and a where is this when he's that. Which one was is a Baltimore Baltimore. A a staff member there who has hepatitis C is no less awesome was using syringes. Needles and that were prepped for. Veterans of going into surgery. He was using them to shoot up will forcing out here. That the independent. The fifth and now and now I think it was. And yes that now. And then when he was done shooting up with that would just rinse them out wash amount and refill them with saline solution and a number of people were infected with. Hepatitis C because they scatter as I like that that they should. They needed charge tag I was like assault battery high and aggravated or you know days. Involuntary manslaughter voluntary manslaughter of some track I mean less thing this. Schalken in this are so when schalken uses in his energy here with with Fox News. You know that you know when you've got you know he's here quoting when you have blonde two or three people who really aren't doing their job. Mr. secretary the problem is. You've got thousands. Men who are not in the end they are. Leading to the deaths of veterans and then you've got. Thousands of good decent people working at the VA trying to do their job trying to do what they were hired for trying to do the right thing by our veterans. Being dragged down by this is not 123 it's not a dozen or her Ian around it and make it a Baker's dozen thirteen now there are. Literally thousands of people who should be fired for fraud malfeasance. Criminal context is that whole system broke it's it's it is absolutely a shambles. But it's just one agency. At a man this is this is eight and I'm gonna say this there's two things someone to say that I've said before but I must say it again because it drives me batty. Wine. The VA health care system in and of itself should be completely dismantled. Completely dismantled. Done away witness in needs to be re started. Minus all the overhead by the overhead I mean clinics and hospitals must issue these cards so these these veterans can go health care at their choice by the people that they wanna be. Care for. Hi and we just ran out of time with enemy left have on the phone calls everything else but I'm going certainly revisit some of this next week thanks for listening guy that's another show on the can't. Join us next Saturday same bat time same bat channel and of course as always if you can't be safe. Be dangerous CNN Saturday folks thanks for listening.
